PlayingTroymare's common effect is to "discard" one card from your hand! It goes really well with Fabled! That's why he is Fabled on the link axis. I think Cat, Death Guide, and Goufu are the best for the initial move. You don't need to adjust the level like you do with Synchro, so let's just push with Special Summon. Since there are a lot of monsters that can be Special Summoned by discarding cards from the hand, I think that it will be possible to link summon with some stability.
