I'd like you to stop chasing the luck of the deduction because it's nonsense, but on average, 3 types, 3 to 4 monsters fall? And almost two-thirds of the time, a monster (Lightsworn or Card Trooper) will stand up.
The reason why he has two copies of Lightsworn and Card Trooper here is that Gunner is included because he tends to be sentenced to level 4 with excellent reasoning. Because of 《Charge of the Light Brigade》, he can search for Lightsworn, so the probability is 2/3.
