It's just a little comfort, but if you get a compensation in your hand, think of it as a win. A serious rollout of Gadget is terrifying. Let's play GEAR Gigant again here and let him make full use of GY and Deck to line up Xyz on the field.

Strength

As I wrote above, if you can put out a gear gigant anyway, you can expand as much as you want from there. Also, Ouroboros is pretty strong, so if you have the time to put it out, definitely give it a try.

Weakness

His weakness is when his Gadget doesn't appear in his hand. There is almost no deployment power when it does not come, so there are a lot of traps to make up for that time.
It may be good to try to stabilize more with a golden chest.
But you can't go without Gadgets in your hand all the time.
