It self-destructs on its own, but I don't think it will let me use this effect twice, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
As you said, the impression is similar to Battle Stan Sonic, and although it's not weak, it's a card that's enough to be used in modern Yu-Gi-Oh.

When B・F is attacked, he either puts B・F in his hand or Special Summons him from the Deck, and has the effect of ending the Battle Phase. When this effect is used, a counter is put on it, and if two counters are put on it, it will be destroyed.
Although it is a support card that can deploy B・F from the Deck, waiting for the opponent's attack is slow and uncertain.
Furthermore, since he is a Continuous Trap, once the effect is used, the chances of being able to activate it a second time are not very high. Either the removal will activate, or something that blows away this card's recruit and end of battle will overrun the summoned BF.
It may be a defensive card with expansion as an added bonus rather than an expansion card, but in that case B and F need to be attacked, so it's still unstable.

The effect is the deployment of BF and the end of the battle phase.
The effect itself seems to be strong at first glance, but the bottleneck is that the activation timing is slow, "when BF is selected as the attack target". However, the current BF is a relatively slow Deck, so it's not a problem.
As for self-destruction, it's rare to be able to use the second effect once it's turned upside down, so I don't think it's something to worry about.
