If you pull the trigger with your opponent's monster, you can't defeat the biggest one, and there's a high possibility that you'll be involved in it, so Torrent Funeral seems to be a more stable way to eliminate that situation.
If you pull the trigger with your own monster, he will be a trap, so lag will be a bottleneck and you can only defeat monsters with lower ATK than the monster you put out, so Sambol and Braho are likely to be more stable.
