The effect itself isn't bad, but if you just want to be defensive, it's okay to stumble, and if you want to protect, reconciliation is fine.
And it doesn't work against Link Monster, so it's a very half-baked defensive card.
Use it when you want to freak out with penetrating monsters.

Machine Support Traps

However, for defensive purposes, it is backward compatible with 《Threatening Roar》and 《Waboku》that can be activated without conditions. Since the opponent's monster will be his Defense Position on the next turn, it may be better to use it in combination with a piercing effect.
And the biggest drawback is that it doesn't work against Link Monsters that aren't in Defense Position. The user in the anime has also been defeated because of it, and it is a sham dog card against Link Monster.

Activation conditions are loose, and Machines can easily meet them.
It's a relatively useful effect for large machines that are prone to accidents, and goes well with ancient machines that have penetration. The only problem is that there are already quite a few excellent cards for Defense Position. If you dare to use a frame for this... Not bad, but a little plain.
