On top of having Recruit's Grabbersnitch and Resurrection's Guttlehog in play, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss itself seems like a low priority with his Special Summon effect from his hand.
But even so, it's not a loss to have a role to play. Malebranche of the Burning Abyss can only use its unique effect once per turn, so this card is also necessary if you want to go explosive.
Still, it's a card that requires a hand, so the number of cards used is not full, but 1 or 2 cards.
