By releasing "Hope", all set Spell/Trap cards are destroyed. It would have been nice to be able to destroy the face-up cards as well, but if only the set cards were used, the adoption value would drop significantly. Releasing "Hope" itself is expensive, so if it can be activated, it will be limited to when you are out of materials or when the opponent's removal.
