Spellbook Deck-wise, it might have been easier to use if it was level 4 or 2.
Although magic monsters are supposed to be X-summoned, they are hard to use because their levels are all over the place.

Special Summon from your hand isn't bad, but I'm not sure if it's necessary to allocate the summoning right to this guy. Even with the addition of Link Monster, such movements are not currently required in magic.

There is no scene where I want to put this guy in the magic category to deploy multiple, and there are no rank 3 Spellcasters or monsters that are compatible with magic, so he is quite a delicate person. If it's from the Deck or GY, it's fine, but there are few chances to activate monsters from the hand with Mado, who has a lot of spellbooks.

However, it is not possible to overcome the barrier of a general-purpose commander, such as requiring a magic book or only producing monsters that use his spells.
That's why I think being the captain is enough.
It has a high defensive power, so it can be used as a wall, which is one of its strengths.
