《Giant Virus》is better because it doesn't damage you and has a recruiting effect.
Even if it triggers effect damage, it's still bad in the damage step during the battle phase.

Destroyed in battle and this is terrible. For Burn Decks, use Giant Germ, which can call follow-up cards, or Tremendous Fire, which deals 1000 damage to your opponent. Status also mismatches FIRE and Fiend

With the same attribute and race, 1700 RBI, and the same effect activation conditions, this card can be said to be a counterpart to 《Stray Asmodian》.
The performance is also similar, and Burn is generally more valuable than Recovery, but the passive condition is a big bottleneck, and the essential damage is weak.
If you play poorly, you will be hit by cards with high hit points and penetration, and in addition to the battle damage, you may lose due to your own burn, and it is also a riskier side than Stray Asmodian.
Ultimately, there are many things that are similar to "Stray Asmodian", especially "Guerilla Kite", which has a close margin of RBI, but can be activated just by sending it to GY, and Burn is limited to opponents and even has a tuner.
