If you bury a monster with an A counter on it, it has the effect of reviving that monster on your field, but if you don't have an opponent monster with a counter on it, it's an advanced Alien that becomes vanilla.
ATK isn't that low, and the timing to steal it is super slow, so it can't be used for follow-up attacks, but it's not bad that it doesn't return control to the opponent even if it dies.
The problem is that Revenger, whose ATK only changes by 100, has a self-SS effect, and he can earn a counter on his own.

The effect of Soldier M has improved the battle development aspect a little, but it still has a long way to go.
However, now that we are in a link environment, being able to take control under these loose conditions is definitely attractive, if there is an A counter weakening effect.

It hurts that it doesn't have a self Special Summon ability like "Alien Overlord".
Alien has a low deployment power, so it is difficult to Tribute Summon the mother.
Since ATK does not reach 2400 and there is no weakening ability, the powerlessness is conspicuous like the first Alien.
A card that can finally become an ace after improving all the above parts. Taking Control also depends on the A counter, so it's not very useful. It would be different if I could just activate it...

Also, if there is no A counter on it, the robbery effect won't activate, so it doesn't match Alien's tactics that cost the A counter.

Alien is difficult to use synchros other than Golgar, but the performance inferior to Goyo is severe. There aren't many things that can be destroyed with 2300 RBI.
It doesn't mesh well with the control-taking Trap card, which requires an A counter...
In terms of development, there is no special support and it is tough. I'm also worried about the self-destruction of Goyo Emperor-like takeover monsters.
