Burn damage is given to the opponent when fighting monsters with ATK of 2400 or less, but unless he bumps up, he is powerless against monsters with higher ATK. As an expected value, 2000 is a good place, and he is tied to needing a Dragon monster other than a tuner, so 2400 RBI is unsatisfactory.
