There are different reasons for using this card than when it first came out, and the evaluation hasn't changed much since the old days.
In the past, most of the opponent's monsters were removed cards with A counters, and burn cards with leading fire power. Unlike `` Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring '', the role of actively destroying without being caught by < Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring > and special summoning up to 5 following reptiles from GY has increased.
By the way, the burn effect can actually lower the opponent's ATK, but it's very compatible with Alien, who has a low basic RBI, so it's easy to understand that it's useful.
Concrete example (a scene where the weakening effect becomes meaningless with a direct attack)
・ If the 2600 line of " Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar " has 200 more damage, the initial LP of 8000 will be within 3 hits with a direct attack.
・Regarding 《Alien Overlord》and 《Alien Mother》, if you add direct attack +1000 burns, total 3200, 3300 damage and over 3000 mark can be carved.

It's a single removal card that requires an A counter, but this is an Alien wheel of destruction that feels like it's losing to the triangle of Quick-Play Spell just because it's a trap.
Although it is a Friche, ``a card that does not have the effect of placing a counter that requires an opponent's monster with a counter'' can always be a cause of accidents.
Alien already has a lot of such cards in its main force, but even if it's a useful additional effect like Triangle, you can't use Normal Trap, which has an additional effect of about 1000 damage to each other.
