If you increase your defensive power with 《Stronghold Guardian》etc., your chances of surviving will increase, and if you are attacked by a monster with a higher ATK, you can deal a lot of damage if you combo with a card that will be used as a face-down defense.
It's hard to make it work unless it's around Book of Moon, and in order to set this card and attack without vigilance, you need to set it without releasing it with something like Mischief of the Gnomes, so there are a lot of numbers you need.
