Any set is fine, and you can easily earn counters by setting a spell card and then activating it.
Cycle Reverse monsters are fine, and 《Scrap-Iron Scarecrow》, which is set after activation, works well.

"Worm" is a group of light reptile monsters that have as many monsters as the number of the alphabet, but in fact, only this monster is level 5.
In other words, you can Special Summon not only Reptile, LIGHT, and Worm related cards, but also 《Transmodify》Level 4 Worm.
On the effect side, a counter is placed on itself in response to a card being set on your field, and with those two counters, you can create a versatile single-target removal effect that does not turn 1, making it a versatile effect. .
Counters are placed just by setting monsters and Spell Traps normally, but general-purpose cards that can be used for defense like the Book of Moon, 《Scrap-Iron Scarecrow》that returns to the set state on its own, and 《Magical Wind》that can be set from GY and 《Titanocider》etc. can be used together to increase the counter effectively.
As a high-level monster, I'm worried about its low stats, but it's definitely one of the strongest monsters in Worm.
It's not a bad matchup with his other Worms, but if you use it, you'll be able to use it more strongly if you build it specifically for this card.

In the past, I used to make his Deck by combining it with [Artifact], which allows you to set monsters from your hand. Artifact is also a delayed deck with a variety of sets, and this is also light level 5, so it's easy for him to build a deck.
With the recent addition of new Artifacts and Reptile support, it might be time to rethink Decks. I think it's an interesting card worth making for Deck.

The hit point is a little unreliable, and there is little point in setting it on the back side in Worm, so it would be less peculiar to use it in the perm system.

It doesn't work very well with "W Nebula Meteorite", but since it can be removed regardless of the type of card, it's powerful enough to gain sets while defending with 《Scrap-Iron Scarecrow》, etc., and turn aggressive.
