Hey... it seems like it could be useful and interesting, but in the end it's a subtle impression.
Strengthening haste in Gladiator Beast is highly useful, but the bottleneck is that the increase value is subtle.
Instead, you can aim for reuse with the recovery effect, but as the required cost is already said in GY, Gladiator Beast does not fertilize GY much, but it does not mean that it does not use GY at all, so it is not good. There is also a possibility that it will be a violation of Deck rotation if handled as such.
Ignoring the effect, you can use it as a hand cost that can be collected many times like Gem-Knight Fusion, but compared to that, it's difficult to use because it doesn't mesh well with his Gladiator Beast itself. After all, Gladiator Beast doesn't play many cards that require a hand cost.
It seems to have potential in the future, but the current situation is difficult to handle.
