Botanical lions already existed when this card appeared, but now there are many useful high-scoring low-level Plants such as Ninjin and Trumpeter, so if you use this card, you can use it with other effects. Combining combos is a premise.
As long as the conditions are met, you can keep sending tokens endlessly, and you don't have to send monsters destroyed in battle to GY. By continuing to attack, you can bring it into an infinite loop that continues until the opponent loses LP by giving an overall attack effect with Kaleido Scorpion on your turn.
Whether or not it's realistic is a bit of a stretch, but I think it's a monster with unique properties worthy of being the main axis of a combo deck, so I'll give it this score.

So if you want to use this effect, you need a combo that takes advantage of this effect.
Tokens are deployed defensively, so if you want to use them as a target, it's preferable to have a penetrating attachment, which takes time and effort.
Token generation has no turn limit and can be activated without sending it to his GY, so you can create an infinite loop by attaching a global attack or forcing an attack.
There are 1-kill combos that use it, but I don't think it's a practical card because of the large number of cards required.

Plant finally has 1900 attackers...Lio and Cephalotus are fine.
