A 1500 increase in defense and 500 attack is possible in a more defensive category, but it's mainly attacking, so naah.
I put him on defense, but he might be able to protect the Karakuri Synchro Monster.

This should be contraction. Even if the effect remains the same, it's not a Karakuri card, so I can't search with 177.

It's a Quick-Play Spell that raises both offense and defense to take advantage of Karakuri's battle position change, but it's a "Stronghold Guardian" that can't be used unless you're down once, and it's a degraded rush, so it's more half-hearted than a good deal.
Also, recently, effect removal is mainstream rather than combat, and the defense increase itself is subtle.
Since it's not Karakuri, I can't search for it.

It's a card that pumps up exclusively for "Karakuri" monsters, but with ATK 500 and DEF 1500, it's a very uneven rise. While it can be used for both offense and defense, it can't be helped even if ATK goes up by 500. On the other hand, if it's defensive power, it's better to use 《Stronghold Guardian》, which can be activated from your hand.

It loses to Rush, but it's stronger than 《The Reliable Guardian》.
I'm not sure about this effect with this name though.

"Karakuri" support that makes you think it's an "ancient machine" support from its name. Although it is dedicated to "Karakuri", it is not possible to receive "Karakuri" support, and what you are doing can be substituted with "contraction" (Forbidden Lance). Although the increase in defensive power is high, it is more stable to defend with a general-purpose trap. It is in the middle of nowhere and the card power is low, so it will not be used.

If you want to make a surprise attack, contraction or rushing is OK.
The strength of this card is increased defensive power, but if you focus on defense, there is a stronghold Guardian that triggers your hand. So I don't think I'll use it much.

Even with Karakuri, I thought normal contraction would be good...
It's amazing that the defense is greatly improved, but I wonder if there's an opportunity to make use of it...

《Stronghold Guardian》that can be used from your hand, or one that raises ATK as well.
Even so, his ATK increase is insignificant, and even if he raises his defense, he can't counterattack and defeat him.
Isn't 《Shrink》perfect after all? It is a position that seems to settle down to the conclusion that it will end up in the position of a cheap substitute ...
Karakuri is a deck type that can be killed with a rush, so I wonder if there is a little use for it.
