The unique effect of 1 is 《Rain of Mercy》, recovering 1000 LP each other.
To put it bluntly, it's weak, but since there's almost no situation where it can't be activated, the Recruit effect is my favorite.
The effect of 2 gives a removal effect that absorbs into the Xyz material.
It does target, but as long as it targets, it doesn't matter what type of card it is.
If you put multiple cards with the same name in the material, you can use the effect for that number of times, but using the effect requires a pseudo cost to send one card from the field to his GY, so it is difficult to use it multiple times.

As for the effect of (2), if it is an X material for a "Purrely" X monster, I think it's excellent that you can absorb a card on the opponent's field as an X material in exchange for another card on your field.
