His Magikey novelty which is difficult to use.
If you think it's rank 4, it's "8", so honestly there's no point in issuing this card with Magikey. Moreover, the effect is subtle.
Wasn't X Summoning on top of Magikey Spirit - Vepartu ?
It's still fine that the effect of (2) is "limited to the opponent's main phase", but it's also subtle that it can only target monsters with "the same attribute as his Magikey or Normal monster on your field/GY".
If he puts it in the LIGHT Deck instead of Magikey and uses it in conjunction with Barrier Statue of the Heavens, it's an ability that can be used somehow... Or 《Lair of Darkness》.
If it's so weak, at least I wanted it to be "selected and excluded".
Putting it in the Blue-Eyed Deck is a little tricky, so why did you put out such a new one? I know they added it because there wasn't a way to exclude it in the Magikey theme so far...
Since there is no name turn 1 soberly, it may be used in Burn Deck etc. I don't know how to get two rank 8s side by side though.
The problem with Magikey is that it consumes a lot of cards and doesn't have the ability to continue fighting, and it doesn't have resistance to large monsters and isn't that strong.
I would have liked KONAMI to come up with a new, more accurate Magikey enhancement.

The effect is quite close to Magikey and vanilla, but since it is self-contained, it can be used as a general-purpose rank 8.
The effect of 1 is that he will burn his original ATK if Magikey or Vanilla is successfully destroyed in battle.
Rank 8 is a bit inferior because it is a fierce battlefield, but his own ATK is 3000, so it is easy to aim for battle destruction, and it is possible to aim at becoming a finisher.
The effect of 2 is an obstructive effect by excluding monsters from Furice, but if he is with a monster of the attribute you want to remove, he must have a Magikey or a vanilla monster on the field. cannot be ruled out.
Blue-Eyed and Sacred Chronicles come to mind with a level 8 vanilla deck, but this also doesn't expand the target range because of his LIGHT.
By the way, like Gigantech Spright, it needs to remove materials when the effect resolves, so it's vulnerable to chained removal such as Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit.
If you're using a generic rank 8, the effect of 1 may be the main one.

The obstructive effect of ② depends on GY, so it seems difficult to set up a wide range of removal in advance, and if you involve Level 8 with Normal Monsters, you may be able to go on a business trip with [Blue Eyes] and [Holy Time], but whichever. is also LIGHT, so the range of removal does not increase. Even though it can't be used during the opponent's turn, I think Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis seems to be a more convenient removal.
It is easy to use because it is a battle destruction burn that works alone with the effect of ①.
If it was Xyz again, it would have been a card with just the right amount of strength. "Ao-Eyes" and "Holy Chronicles" to get "Ma'at"?

Not weak, but he doesn't mesh well with Magikey. If you use it first, you will have two level 8s, but the existing Magikey level 8 has Transfulmine, which can destroy monsters when summoned, and Garesvet, which can negate monster effects and destroy them. To be honest, there is almost no point in playing this card since you can only banish it during your opponent's main phase. Even when attacking second, Transflumine has two attacks, and Garesvet's RBI is higher than Ashtartu depending on his GY, so there are few scenes where Ashtartu is needed.
Furthermore, for some reason, the attribute referenced by the exclusion effect is not the "GY monster" of Transflumine and Garesvet, but "His Magikey or Normal Monster in the field GY", basically weakening the range.
All in all, he makes little sense out of Magikey, and his performance is deliberately kept to a minimum. Rather, it may be useful in rank 8 decks that make use of Normal Monsters.
