Four counters are already enough, so recombination is good.

It is undeniable that the strength of "destroying" Alien has been taken away by Offering to the Snake Deity.
He sacrifices one Alien to scatter counters, but it's sad that he's discarding board ads and not getting any back.
The fact that the current Alien support doesn't have a card that requires a lot of A counters at once is one of the reasons why this card's strengths can't be fully utilized.
It is superior to recombination devices in that you can place counters (assign them to multiple monsters) without targeting the opponent's monsters.

It used to be a top card that actively earns A counters, but with the A cell recombination device, which is almost upwardly compatible, there is very little significance in choosing this one.
Alien has a low deployment power, so it's hard to come up with a field cost.
If it's a destruction trigger, 《Offering to the Snake Deity》would be better...
