It's not completely unusable, but it's simply weak
Level 8 Synchro is a fierce battlefield and this card only has the performance of 2-3 generations ago against them
It's not like you can't use the Veiler effect, but in most situations, using Savage will be overwhelmingly stronger.
And this card is said to be included in Dark World and Fabled, but even with the above two, it is unlikely to be included.
It's often misunderstood, but just because he uses a throw-away gimmick doesn't mean he wants to throw it away.
Furthermore, there aren't many cards you want to discard during your opponent's turn.Dark World has Grapha, but he doesn't bother to keep it in his hand and aim for destruction effects, and Fabled and others have no choice but to create wall monsters.
Although it specializes in granting resistance, it can only be said to be subtle.
This card, which is overwhelmingly lacking in power, will not be prioritized even if it can be differentiated from Savage.

The effect isn't bad, but it's a delicate performance in a level 8 synchro that is a fierce battlefield crowded with monsters with suppression effects.
If you choose to adopt it, it would be a good idea to pair it with a theme such as Dark World or Fabled that can utilize the discard effect, or a theme that has synergy with elements and races.
Most recently, his Labrynth included in the Deck build pack "Tactical Masters" has monsters with effects that can be collected from his GY to the hand, and cards that require his Fiend on the field, so Borreload S ・Differentiation from dragons is possible.

A monster that can negate the effects of monsters during your opponent's turn.
His Fiend is tied to non-tuners, but if you just put it out, you can put it out of his various decks such as "Fabled", "Infernity", and "DD".
The ability to negate an opponent's monster's effect with its ① effect is excellent, but it's not strong enough to take precedence over Level 8 Synchro with more powerful interference effects such as 《Borreload・S・Dragon》. It seems that it was added in consideration of synergy with "Fabled" and "Dark World" because it is necessary to discard a monster from the hand, but even if you deploy a low-level monster with his deck during the opponent's turn, it will only be a wall. I don't think it's very compatible because it doesn't work.
The effect of ② seems to be attached to mesh with ①, but it's a shame that it's not an effect that directly leads to an advantage.

A monster designed in anticipation of synergy with VJ's Fabled, a new card included in the nearby regular pack, but the attribute is dark, not light.
8 Synchro with demon binding on the non-tuner side, the effect is negate of the monster effect that targets the monster in the field due to the activation effect that started to be seen in the 11th period, and discards it from the hand when the effect resolves. By making a monster a fiend, you can get one of the three resistances you like in a row.
No matter how Fiend is sent from your hand to his GY, you can gain resistance, so you can combine it with other cards to gain resistance during your opponent's turn, but after all effects are processed, chain block to gain resistance, so you can't match it directly with your opponent's removal effect.
It's not weak at all because it silences unpleasant permanent effects, but even with just the material-free Synchro, it's a level 8 zone in the Great Devil's Nest state, and there are restrictions, and this hit point and this performance are still unsatisfactory. In my opinion, the fact that this site has such a large number of views despite it being a large monster attached to a book tells us that the demand for and attention to this card is low.

Since non-tuners are bound to demons and some effects are related to demons, it will be used mainly on demons.
It has a built-in veiler and has a high control power against monsters. However, since it requires a monster in your hand and doesn't destroy it, it can't be used appropriately. I'm going to throw it away, so I'd like to combo with Dark World and Madou.
There is no turn limit for resistance, so if you discard it multiple times, it will be strengthened.
However, I can't be too overconfident because it will eat the chain removal.
There are several level 8S with similar effects, and Borrel S can be activated even on your own turn, can be used against monsters, has a higher hit point, and is not tied to materials, but requires a link.
Crystal Wing is heavy as it requires S for its material, but it is no cost and more aggressive.
I wrote in the V-Jan that he is compatible with Fabled, but I think that the above two are prioritized for this deck with his deployment power and beast.
I can't deny that it's a bit plain, but I don't think he's an option for Deck, especially for DD or Dark World.
