Comprehensive evaluation: Significance is small even if it uses the monster which can be self-regenerated.
If it's going to be destroyed in battle by an opponent's monster attack, it's easier to negate the attack with 《Draining Shield》.
If there is any significance to using it, it's about whether it was attacked and counterattacked, or about when it was a suicide bomb attack.
However, even during a suicide attack, it seems better to draw with 《Supply Squad》rather than recovery.
《The Fountain in the Sky》is better for LIGHT recruiters.

In the current environment where removal is rampant, this trigger is severe, and in situations where this card can be activated, most 《Draining Shield》will exceed the recovery amount.
If you weaken a high RBI card and self-destruct it, you can't expect more recovery than Drain, but it's worth the effort.
