The theme of Megalith is not to fight with his Megalith, but to make use of the deployment power to suppress or attack the second one kill.
While it doesn't look as exciting as the same Ritual Decks Drytron and Nekroz across the category, Megalith actually has a lot of potential, like the effect doesn't have the name Turn 1. With the advent of 《Megalith Phul》, Ritual Monster has been promoted to the most important card in the Megalith Deck because it can be searched for Unformed, which has become an essential card.
Rather than searching for Fool from Ophiel and ritual summoning Fool with its distant effect, it is better to search for Bagito and ritual summon Fool with Megalith Unformed, which is searched for by its far effect, because of Ophiel's ② ritual summoning effect. Searcher of the Megalith Spell Trap.
The Spell Trap search in the category is easy to understand and has a strong effect, but there are portals that the search target wants to hold first, emersion that is not strong enough to want to search, promotions that are not worth talking about, and unformed that is difficult to use because the release request is too heavy. There was no other choice, and I couldn't say that it was that strong because the search destination was not good enough for the strength of the text I was writing.
But that's a story of the past, and with the appearance of Megalith's revolutionary Fool in the next bullet, Unformed becomes a transcendentally capable card, and on top of being able to search for that Unformed, it's allotted for release to call Fool as it is. The value of this card skyrocketed, and it turned into a card that I wanted to prioritize over Ophiel.
Whether it's Unformed or this card, it's Fool's awesomeness that indirectly strengthens the theme card.
