His Dark Contract boasts powerful suppressing power that interferes with his opponent's Tribute Summons, X Summons, and S Summons, and makes his monsters immune to his Spells and Traps.
The effect is powerful, but the activation conditions are strict, and two DD cards are required for his Pendulum Scale to activate the effect. Many DDs, which already have a strict hand, don't have the luxury of putting up two scales, so it's better to be conscious of building from the P axis when using it.
