However, perhaps because it was the era, even if it's fine to block the activation to prevent overwrites that don't exist now, it only adds destruction resistance, so it's a poor removal countermeasure.
Far from being powerless against bounces and banishments, the activation limit works in the wrong direction, making it impossible to activate the second and subsequent cards and the returned cards.
These days, there are many things on the field that have effects when they are activated, so there are many situations where it is better to search for the second and subsequent cards with terraforming rather than forcefully defending. It doesn't quite match those traits.
Rather, this card can be seen as a meta card that prevents the opponent from activating his Field Spell and destroying it himself. Increasing the amount of cyclone etc. is more versatile, but...
