The name sounds like Field Spell, but it's not Field Spell.
The effect of 1 requires a specific condition, but he negates the effects of monsters Special Summoned from other than GY that turn, and it can seal monsters from extras, so it is powerful as a check.
However, he is often given Special Summon by GY, so depending on the opponent, it may not stick well.
The 2 effect has a cost, but turns a face-up card into a token.
It's basically an effect that's supposed to be comboed with a knight of the same Strak, but if you use the used libide, his Field Spell, or double this as the cost, you can reduce the burden somewhat.
This token is currently the only element that can be used as the cost of Redame.
The effect of 3 can collect this card of his GY in exchange for the hand cost.
Most of the monsters that cost it are in your hand, so you don't have to worry about the cost so much, or rather, it's an advantage.
