It's completely backward compatible with 《Change of Heart》, but it's strong enough just because the LP cost can't be reversed.
Even if the current Mind Control is relaxed to semi-restricted and later becomes unlimited, the relaxation of this guy will be quite severe.
I thought... but the ban on errata was lifted.
Since I could only take normal summon monsters, it was difficult to steal powerful monsters, and I was powerless against extras.
Originally, Brainwash was strong as a return card, but when the turn was passed, it was not uncommon for him to not have any monsters that could be Normal Summoned, and he became quite picky about opponents, making it a subtle and stable return. It lacked sex and became quite difficult to use.
Conversely, he thinks that if he can't steal monsters that can be Normal Summoned...
