Take Control is powerful, but it's too restrictive. Since I can't Special Summon, I have to assign the summoning right to this guy, and on top of that, it requires a monster for the cost, and I can only steal the front Defense Position. What's more, the captured monster cannot change its battle position, and it comes with a bonus that control is returned during the end phase. If it's this severe, I think it would be fine to take it permanently, but it's still far from being adopted.
