It seems like a demerit in that two monsters in Attack Position will remain on each other and that it will be avoided as a stepping stone for release or as a material.
You can turn your monsters into skidler friends such as his Barbaros and use them as a wall in your Attack Position.
It's good to punch your opponent's monsters, but you want to negate monsters with low ATK and materials that are difficult to release.
A difficult target condition that cannot be achieved unless you send it yourself is a hindrance.
