The point to see with this card is that it doesn't just put you in Defense Position, it puts you in Defense Position until the "end phase" of the "next" opponent's turn.
Even if you can't deal with the attacking monster in your next turn, you can't change your battle position in your opponent's next turn, so you can actually bind the front Defense Position for 2 turns.
Even if you can't use it in other rock decks, you can actively use it in spiders that use Earthbound Immortal Uru.
Anyway, if this card is not cracked, the speed of the duel will slow down, so it will help summon Earthbound Immortal. If you pack in good cards like Mother Spider and 《Spyder Spider》, you should be able to make good use of it. With the new support of Resonance Insects, it's now easier to add not only Uru but also Mother Spider to your hand, so I think the evaluation of this card will change as it consumes less and can permanently bind your opponent.
