"Branded Fusion" Rating Score by ブルーバード

This review is pretty personal and ugly, so if you like Branded, scroll down and skip it.
Personally, I've always thought that deck fusion is questionable, but this card boils down that shamefulness and distortion. It's too blatant to hand over the deck fusion that was messed up because it's the main theme of the 11th term.
Moreover, this card appeared just after 《Fusion Destiny》was banned. I don't think they expected the Fudes ban at the production stage, but this is too disrespectful. The existence itself feels like an adult situation and I really hate it.
And due to the existence of this card, Albus's Fusion Monsters have become terribly boring. Neither Mirajade nor Albion are particularly weak, but when looking at him as a Fusion Monster, his effects and ATK are small, so I don't feel the romance as a Fusion Monster. To be honest, when I see Albion or Ruberion scavenging his GY and re-integrating it, I feel that Ace Monster has a lot of unreasonable stinginess, and I'm really sad. Branded has been power adjusted around his deck fusion, which is clearly a drag on card design.
I'm anti against his deck fusion, so I might be pretty biased. But I think that if you can only make boring monsters by worrying about the ease of putting them out and the advantages, you won't feel any attachment to Fusion Monsters.
