When reversed, it blends into the opponent's deck on the front, and when it is drawn, it appears on the opponent's field and has the effect of inflicting 1000 damage and staining the opponent's field with his Insect.
The effect is unusually roundabout, and it is often the case that even if you mix it face-up in the first place, you won't be able to pull it off.
If you want to manipulate races, there are remodeling surgeries, and Burn has a lot more cards. I guess we can only hope that the possibility of the opponent forgetting to pull out this card and moving on to the next Duel and being Judge Killed exists at the fine particle level...
