Galatea is unable to become a mutual link with Link's older brother Gills, probably because he had an ego before Eve's soul entered.
It can't be helped because it's not Eve
Maybe because Gills-niisan made it so that it looks exactly like Eve, even the size of his breasts are perfectly flat.
In Linked state, it gains combat destruction resistance, but since it becomes a link material with Mascarena, there are few opportunities to be useful, but ATK is also relatively high for Link 2, so there is no loss.
