The tokens that come out have no restrictions on their use, so they are perfect as link materials, and I definitely want to use them in his Deck, which uses his Insect-designated Link Monster.
However, there is also the drawback that he cannot summon or special summon level 3 and 4 monsters during the activation turn, and this limits the number of Insect monsters that can be used as a starting point if you try to activate it immediately.
This is because when this card was created, there was only an S summon, and the original tuner and the two tokens that came out of this effect were adjusted so that only level 4 or lower S monsters could be summoned. Yes, it was actually a hard card to use at the time.
