When Gladiator Beast was the battle style of the past and was in its heyday in the environment, it was a useful existence as a monster that exterminated Goes & Cayenne and Tragoedia that suddenly appeared on the opponent's field after battle.
At that time, it was a monster that I didn't want to draw directly, so I used Ping in most cases, but now there are Gladiator Beast monsters like Augustor that can Special Summon Gladiator Beasts from outside the Deck. Since it can be used not only as a fusion material but also as a link material, it has become easier to process effectively.
Gladiator Beasts' fighting styles have changed significantly, making them less necessary monsters than they used to be, but they're still an advantage-gainer for low-level Gladiator Beasts.
I would have liked to have seen a Gladiator Beast from a Fish that specified this monster or Trakes as the required fusion material.
