One of the low-class Gladiator Beast monsters that many people have seen in Yu-Gi-Oh Online before Synchro Summoning was introduced.

Even from the opponent's point of view, passing the turn with a monster in Defense Position against the Gladiator Beast Deck is a bad move that gives this low ATK monster and Murmillo a chance to prepare an attack target and use the Recruit effect. Since it is an extremely extreme action, I have the impression that it was not easy for this monster to use the Recruit effect as a result.
At that time, it was one of the low-level Gladiator Beasts that was useful as a monster to recruit from Geysereth along with Raquel because it could withstand attacks from Sidera with its natural defense and Equite and tanks had not yet appeared. It's worth nothing more than being a must for recruiting Tix, and since that Spartix isn't used at all, it feels like this monster's rating is going down.
Conversely, if you use Sparticus, it's a monster you need, so it's worth giving this level of score.
