It is the ultimate altruistic act of having the player who is the controller eat him/herself.
His spell card that allows him to recover his LP by choosing the more delicious attack or defense of the monsters on his field that he sacrificed, and because it is a Quick-Play Spell, it is more effective on each other's turn. It is attractive that it is easy to select a scene and activate it.
It can also be used as a means of dealing with monsters that are already self-destructing or monsters that are temporarily controlled by the opponent, but with the introduction of Link Summoning, most monsters can be used as materials for some kind of Special Summon. Therefore, if those monsters are not bound by Special Summon, using this card for the purpose of disposing of monsters is a bit tricky.
There are surprisingly few Quick-Play Spells that allow you to sacrifice escape against any monster, and in that sense it is a valuable existence, but it is also true that it is not a card that touches the opponent's board or gains a numerical advantage. So, if you use this card, you should also introduce a card that can take advantage of the fact that you can get a large LP advantage at once.
