Reviving a destroyed monster isn't a weak effect, but it's not an interfering effect, and it can't prevent destruction, so it can't be used as a preemptive suppression.
The search effect is easy to handle because it is activated even if it is a link material. However, in that case, since it will be activated during the deployment, the most important 《Dark Contract with the Gate》is often already secured, so something with an expansion effect like 《Dark Contract with the Swamp King》or 《Dark Contract with the Witch》etc. I want to search for something that has a disturbing effect.
In the old “DD”, there were few easy-to-deploy level 4 cards, and it was a difficult card to put out, but with the appearance of 《DD Griffon》, it became easier to put out to some extent.
"DD" has a tight EX Deck anyway, but it's still a card worth adopting.
Also, if you want to put out 《D/D/D Deviser King Deus Machinex》from his Fiend Deck other than "DD", you can use it as an underlay.
