It is a powerful Ninjitsu that can deploy large monsters from the Deck while removing the opponent's monsters, but if the Ninja you send to GY is a low-class monster, you will have to rely on the ability of the opponent's monsters to bring out the large monsters. There are many cases where you can't recruit the monster you're looking for unless you're at least level 4 or higher.
Also, I would like to note that X and Link cannot be sent to his GY.
