One of the monsters characterized by odd ability values used by the dark player killer in the original work.
There are some cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG that indicate that they are card game monsters in the card name and flavor text, and some cards that have the same card as the back side of the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG in the illustration, but this card. is the progenitor monster.
That's why I personally like the one with the sickle piercing the card from the original, rather than the OCG illustration that simply depicts the god of death.
In the original, it was caught in a hexagram (Trap) while trying to cut through a shielding sword (Spell), but in the OCG it has become a monster that specializes in cutting traps.
However, because the activation conditions are reverse and the combination of a high-level monster is the lowest combination, the activation itself has become a difficult card.
Even such a monster was treated as a no-rare monster for the first time, and was upgraded to a super-rare when it was reprinted in season 2.
