That card that used to be semi-restricted only by ability has been remade to the highest level.
It has the effect of becoming a backside Defense Position, the effect of returning all the opponent's monsters to the Deck when Flip Summon succeeds, and the effect of setting a Level 5 Rock from the hand/Deck when destroyed by the opponent.
It's a heavy monster with no summon support, but can be set with 《Gallant Granite》. The usability is the same as the original Guardian Sphinx except for the release, but since the ability value has increased, it has become stronger in battle and the destructive power has increased as it has become a bounce destination deck.
It also has a Recruit effect when destroyed, allowing you to continuously attempt to bounce if you summon the Guardian Sphinx. Other than Guardian Sphinx, recruiting destinations are scarce.
Although it is a moderately strengthened Guardian Sphinx, Level 8 Rock is highly competitive with 《Block Dragon》at the top. It's hard to say whether to put it in there.
