The effect is quite powerful, giving the linked The Weather monster a perfect counter effect that can be activated under the same conditions as The Weather pattern, and by sending itself to GY, negate Special Summon that does not form a chain block. It also has the effect of destroying and the effect of returning under the same conditions as the The Weather monster in the main Deck.
However, in The Weather Deck, it's not at all easy to play this monster, which is a Link 3, even if you use rainbow patterns. There are many cases where it is stronger to apply pressure with the number of The Weather monsters.
Also, since all of the Link Markers face downwards, the Perfect Counter effect cannot be added to The Weather monsters when revived in the Main Monster Zone, and the effect that negates Special Summon cannot be used unless it is Link Summoned, so it cannot be activated after resurrection. It has also accelerated the feeling of not being good.
Although it is inserted as an extra for the time being, in most cases it will be part of the removal cost of Kokin and Kinken in order to establish a not-so-great first move of The Weather Deck.
