You can use a fusion gimmick in his Synchronized deck just by inserting one card into EX, but as others have said, it consumes too many cards.

In particular, [Rokket] can clear the restriction that "only DARK monsters such as "Rokket Tracer" can be released from EX", and depending on the construction, there are Fusion Monsters such as "Borreload F Dragon", so it does not spoil much.
