The Pendulum Scale is a delicate number of 5, but it's enough for the jewels that occupy the lower grades. Even in the current environment, there are many effects that target P-effects, and there are many bounces, exclusions, and negates, so it is useful to be able to protect gems that are vulnerable to them.
The main effect is search, and there are other searches for gems, but this card has a much wider range than others because it takes time to put it on the field.

The P-zone has been merged with the Magic/Trap zone, but as we all know, Magic/Trap zone compression is a painful story for Gem, and is probably one of his decks most affected by this change. Furthermore, it has become difficult to reuse on the spot.
