Necrovalley, the activation condition, has a lot of search methods, so it's easy to fulfill. Also, due to the effect of Necrovalley, it is somewhat strong against his use of GY, which is a hole in handicap.
However, there are some difficulties. Since it's mutual, you can't activate it without thinking, and only monsters can get handicapped. In the middle to the end of the game, when the number of cards in your hand is decreasing, the effect becomes weaker, so it is easy to be influenced by the opponent and the situation.
