If discarded, you can draw, you can reduce the loss of trades and gates, and when the effect of Dark World activates, he can fertilize GY and rotate the deck, a highly combo effect. Compensation is also sufficient.
If your opponent discards it, you can draw more, but it's highly dependent on your opponent, and even if you aim for it yourself, the gains and losses tend to cancel out in the combo stage, so there's little need to force yourself to aim.
It's the only Dark World that supports Death Guide, and can be directly connected to Link or Rank 3. Especially with Leviel, it's easy to create return targets thanks to the gate, so it's a good match.
It has a very strong combo, and Dark World is easy to start, and since it's low-level, it's less prone to accidents, making it a good cost for Grapha's self-regeneration. Mainly I think he's an excellent presence for Dark World to contribute to the deck rotation.
