The condition is when the opponent takes effect damage, so if it's Trickstar as the name suggests, it's easy to satisfy the condition. That said, in his normal Trickstar, he often burns with Manjushka and Candina during the opponent's turn, so there are few things he can do in his first move. On top of that, it seems that it can't be activated by damage, and he can't special summon in the light stage burn due to battles damage, so he can't even follow up.
Rather, it might be the easiest way to activate it at the live stage and Holy Angel. Since it's Link 2, it's time-consuming to use henbane, etc., but you can also create a board surface by burning from token generation.
However, without such a combo, it's a bit quirky, and it's a little inferior to Trickstar's excellent lower class, and the unique burn effect and the narrow range of hand cards and GY's monster effects are combined, so you can't help but line up like a link axis.
