A self-regenerating Salamangreat.
He has the effect of strengthening monsters by discarding from his hand, and the effect of self-regenerating from GY just by having another Salamangreat of his.
Monster enhancement that can be used from the hand is not triggered immediately, and the enhancement range is subtle. He wants to know that this card, which has come to his hand, is a means of sending it to GY. Salamangreat might come in handy at times though, as his ATK relies on Violet Chimera's one punch.
My favorite is the self-regeneration effect. Gazelle's effect can send him to GY, so if he self-regenerates immediately, he can lead Link 2 and Rank 3. Even if it is not, it can be used as a trigger for Sunlight Wolf's effect, or it can be deployed in a special situation.
