His usability as a simple removal card is inferior to his Harpie, and there are decks of him that are not compatible with Sin and Gems, so I choose his deck that can be used somewhat.
This can no longer be said to be a simple backward compatibility because it has a combo feature that allows you to remove cards that are in the way of your field and involve cards that are activated when they are not destroyed.
However, like Harpie, he's been less prone lately, and he can't interfere in the opponent's turn, so he sometimes seems inferior to Psychic and Tsuitsui. As mentioned above, this is superior in that it does not spoil at all even from the beginning because it can destroy your own cards.
I don't think it's even a card that should be banned. That being said, if he were to be released until now, he would not be able to stand face down in earnest, so even if he were to be released, would he be replaced with Harpie?
Now that we have Psych and similar cards in abundance, I feel like that won't change. But the No-Cos overall removal is still strong.
